Swine
We raise swine for processing once a year. This past year we raised 6 hogs from wean to finish. Most of our pigs each year are spoken for ahead of processing if you are interested in a half or a whole please reach out! The pigs are available in halves and wholes for processing through Eickman's in Seward, IL.
In the past we raised cross-bred pigs from farrow to finish. The sows would farrow in spring and fall in enclosed crates to prevent injury to the piglets. The piglets are weaned after several weeks and are then ready for market in about 5 months.
